Pimm's Cup, Manhattan, charcuterie

HOBNOB, the newest restaurant to open at Brooklyn’s Unity Plaza, has introduced a new late-night happy hour menu. This menu is available in the lounge every Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The menu features drink specials such as Manhattan with rye, sweet vermouth and barrel-aged bitters ($6), Pimm’s Cup with Pimm’s No. 1 gin, strawberry syrup, lemon and ginger beer ($6), and select house wine and draft beers ($4 each).

Three appetizers from the dinner menu are also available: Spicy Truffled Edamame with lomi lomi tomatoes and sweet onions ($8), Grilled Szechuan Ribs with apple-jicama slaw ($15) and Charcuterie and Artisan Cheese Board with chef’s selection of cured meats and cheeses, local olives, truffle honey, marinated cipollini and sun-dried tomatoes ($10 for one meat and one cheese, $22 for three meats and cheeses). New bar snacks, available only during late night happy hour, include Warm Garlic and Herb Focaccia with house-made kimchi butter ($8) and Furikake Seasoned Popcorn ($5).

“With Brooklyn’s growth as a dining destination, we saw an opportunity to serve our late-night guests dishes that work equally well for starting or ending a night out,” said Ellen Cottrill, a co-owner of the restaurant. “This new menu provides our guests with a social dining option after dinner service ends on Friday and Saturday nights.”
