Jax Beer Week 2016

The 5th annual Jax Beer Week will take place September 17-24, 2016. Jax Beer Week is an annual week-long gathering of local breweries, brew pubs, restaurants, bars, bottle shops, and craft beer aficionados to celebrate the growth of craft beer throughout Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. This is the second year that the Jax Beer Society has organized Jax Beer Week. Jax Beer Week 2016 will include numerous beer-themed events around town throughout the week, many featuring locally brewed craft beers from the 8 Jax Beer Society founding breweries (Aardwolf, Bold City, Engine 15, Green Room, Intuition, Pinglehead, Veterans United, and Zeta).

Jax Beer Week will end with the “Mash In” on Saturday, September 24 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The “Mash In” will be a huge party at Engine 15 Brewing Company's Downtown Jacksonville event facility, The Glass Factory. This will be an awesome event with representatives from many of the fabulous JBS founding and associate members there to add to the fun. See the Engine 15 brewing facility and taproom in the Downtown Jacksonville neighborhood of LaVilla.

The Mash In will feature:

– Unlimited beer sampling of brews from all 8 Jax Beer Society member breweries
– The unveiling of JBS Founding Breweries' Collaboration Beers
– Food Samples from Jax Beer Society Associate Members
– General Admission Tickets include: entry to the party at 1 p.m., a complimentary tasting glass, unlimited beer sampling, and food samples from Jax Beer Society Associate members
– VIP Ticket Holders will receive everything included in General Admission and the following perks: a catered lunch, a commemorative event t-shirt, and early admission to the festival at 12:00 p.m.

Pricing for the Mash In is as follows: General Admission tickets are $35 through September 23, and will be available on the day of the event (September 24) for $40. VIP Tickets are $55 and are limited to 100 available tickets.
